Golconda Technologies, Inc, formerly known as Golconda Web Design, was established by Kathryn Rayner in December of 1999 to fulfill her desire to create her own business in web design and web applications. Since then, she has created sites for clients in the USA, and in England. She has also linked up with other web designers and programmers to assist them in designing websites and application interfaces for their clients.
Kathryn's abilities span a large spectrum - from HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, Perl/CGI, ASP, ASP.NET, C#.NET, VB.NET, RealVideo/RealAudio, Windows Media, Quicktime Audio, MS SQL 2000/2005, MS Access and just recently Joomla, PHP and mySQL. Prior to the formation of Golconda Technologies, Inc, Kathryn worked in civil engineering for 5 years as an Engineer Intern and for over 4 years in Information Technology (IT). She began her IT career working for a publishing firm as their Production Coordinator and Web Designer. She then moved on to another company beginning as a Web Designer and then later was promoted to the Webmaster where she maintained their international web sites - both internet and extranet. She has contracted with PrintingForLess.com for over 10 years as an application database developer.
Kathryn received her Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Northwestern University in 1993.
